Even in the 21st century, man is still a mystery.
As an artist, I’m on a quest for an Enlightened man.
The idea was to make a series of light sculptures that would communicate with the viewer on a spiritual level. Without the direct involvement of touch, sculptures would share waves and emit their energy.
For such a project to be done, I needed a sculpture with an illuminated body that could radiate through the colorized structure on its surface.

Some of the working process stages
A man is bare in front of the universal truth, so this sculpture is too.
Its body is covered with colors as a symbol of freedom and choice that we have, while the light inside stands for vivid spirit.
“The Enlightened man” takes the energy from nature during the day (solar version) and during the night, he returns that energy back, following the Circle of Life.
This sculpture represents a moment of man’s self-knowledge, in which he, surrounded by his previous experience, accepts changes that are happening and those that are yet to come.
White parts of the sculpture will shine stronger as adopted achievements. While large areas of the color show a vivid exploration of an individual through life, darker parts and colors stand for mysteries that are still unknown.
The general idea is to create more sculptures in various cities. Every single man will be different but each will show an enlightened man in his different stages of development.
